History
A1 Grand Prix is the first opportunity in any area of motorsport for nations to compete on a level playing field. It is a series where technology and innovation are deliberately equalised and performance is determined by human bravery, skill and excellence. Team and driver combine to create their advantage and the winning nation raises its flag in celebration.

The Scalextric model
Scalextric acquired the EXCLUSIVE worldwide rights to produce this car in support of the A1 GP world series.
The car will be available in ten liveries in 2006 to include Great Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, USA, Italy, Australia, Holland and New Zealand. This gives a new angle to racing whereby the racer can represent their favourite country instead of team. More country liveries are intended for release in 2007.

Advantages:
Robust design having a very strong front nose wing assembly and integral rear wing as incorporated in the full size car. Fuel cap, wing mirrors and wind screen are still detailed but due to their low profile they will not easily break. This ensures that these Scalextric cars will race with the minimum of damage whilst still retaining a high level of detail.
Features:
Durability. Magnatraction and quick change braid plate.
